Review of Membranes for Helium Separation and Purification
Membrane gas separation has potential for the recovery and purification of helium, because the majority of membranes have selectivity for helium. This review reports on the current state of the research and patent literature for membranes undertaking ...

Evolution of helium triplet transits of close-in gas giants orbiting K-dwarfs [PDF]
Atmospheric escape in exoplanets has traditionally been observed using hydrogen Lyman-$\alpha$ and H-$\alpha$ transmission spectroscopy, but more recent detections have utilised the metastable helium triplet at 1083$~$nm. Since this feature is accessible from the ground, it offers new possibilities for studying atmospheric escape.

Comparison of helium source characteristics between geothermal water-dissolved type and natural gas-associated type: A case study of Weihe Basin and northern Ordos Basin [PDF]
Helium is a rare inert gas with indispensable applications in defense, aerospace, and medicine. However, helium resources available for use in China are extremely limited. To date, no independently accumulated helium resources have been found.

A case study of helium recovery from Australian natural gas
Helium occurs in commercial quantities in some natural gas fields and global production is dominated by the few countries that recover helium as a byproduct of natural gas.

The Effect of Helium Sedimentation on Galaxy Cluster Masses and Scaling Relations
Recent theoretical studies predict that the inner regions of galaxy clusters may have an enhanced helium abundance due to sedimentation over the cluster lifetime.

A Hermetic On-Cryostat Helium Source for Low Temperature Experiments [PDF]
We describe a helium source cell for use in cryogenic experiments that is hermetically sealed $in$ $situ$ on the cold plate of a cryostat. The source cell is filled with helium gas at room temperature and subsequently sealed using a cold weld crimping tool before the cryostat is closed and cooled down.

Experimental study about the gas slip flow in Longmaxi shales from the southern Sichuan Basin
In order to clarify the gas slip flow effect and its influencing mechanism of shale gas reservoirs, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption measurements were performed on the Silurian Longmaxi Formation shales from the Sichuan Basin.
