ABSTRACT This article identifies assistive technologies (ATs) as ‘pre‐technologies’ mediating access to other technologies for disabled subjects (DSs). The motivation is to show that without ATs, DSs cannot be said to have the same level of access to freedom and self‐forming activities as able‐bodied subjects.

Variability of the Climate in Athens‐Greece Over the Last 165 Years of the Period 1858–2023: An Assessment Based on Thornthwaite's Climate Classification and Relevant Indices

Athens' climate according to Thorthwaite is stable despite warming trends. Athens' climate remains semi‐arid and mesothermal over 165 years. Strong increases in evapotranspiration and stable precipitation were found. Soil water storage capacity affects water deficits but not aridity type.
