In Situ Polyurea Integration for Self‐Healing, Durable Transparent Electromagnetic‐Interference Shielding Film

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 36, 29 June 2026.
A steric‐hindrance molecular engineering strategy uses dimethyl maleate (DMM) to convert poly(1,4‐butanediol) bis(4‐aminobenzoate) (PBDAB) into a precursor with reduced reactivity via Michael addition, thereby retarding the curing process to form a transparent, ultraflexible, and self‐healable secondary‑amine polyurea (PuSA) with a crosslinked network.

Immersive reality capabilities of relieving hiraeth

open access: yesJournal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Volume 77, Issue 6, Page 848-862, June 2026.
Abstract Understanding how immersive experiences foster a sense of presence sufficient to rival real‐world experiences remains an open research area. Prior work has largely examined episodic memory recall in simulated environments, but less is known about how immersive technologies can reconnect individuals with personal memories.

Neighborhood disadvantage partially mediates the relationship between childhood maltreatment and risk for dementia

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia: Behavior &Socioeconomics of Aging, Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Early childhood adversities, including childhood maltreatment, have been associated with dementia risk. Neighborhood disadvantage is associated with both child maltreatment and dementia risk and may, in part, explain the relationship between child maltreatment and dementia risk.

American Football Headgear Impairs Visuomotor Drill Performance in Division I NCAA Football Athletes

open access: yesJournal of Functional Morphology and Kinesiology
Background/Objectives: Previous evidence has shown that American football headgear (e.g., facemasks, visors/eye shields) differentially impairs reaction time (RT) to visual stimuli, most notably in peripheral fields of view.
