Se practicaron recuentos comparados de huevos de cinco helmintos intestinales utilizando dos técnicas: frotis directo normalizado de Beaver y técnica de dilución de Stoll. Se efectuaron comparaciones en 281 infecciones de A. lumbricoides, 370 de T. trichiura, 181 de Necator, 35 de Strongyloides y 54 de H. nana.
