Abstract Background Necrotizing periodontal diseases (NPDs) are uncommon and severe inflammatory conditions characterized by tissue necrosis, painful ulceration, and rapid clinical progression, frequently associated with systemic immunosuppression. Limited data exist regarding their clinical presentation and management in hospital settings.

Extradural hematomas are collection of blood between the dura and skull bone. These hematomas are common complication of head injury. Spontaneous resolution of extradural hematoma due to migration into the subgaleal space has been reported.
