Hemodialysis partners

open access: yesKidney International, 1980
A 1976 national survey was made to obtain information about hjemodialysis patients and their partners. Results of the survey indicate that a suitable (willing and capable) partner is a principal consideration of both patient and physician when they select the site for carrying out dialysis treatment.

Nocturnal hemodialysis

open access: yesIndian Journal of Nephrology, 2012
Patients receiving conventional hemodialysis have high hospitalisation rates, poor quality of life and survival compared to the general population. Many centres around the world are providing longer hours of hemodialysis - short daily hemodialysis and nocturnal hemodialysis - with a view to improving patient survival and quality of life.

Variations in Arterial Blood Pressure after Kidney Transplantation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
The course of hypertension within the first 2 months after kidney transplantation was correlated with renal function, plasma renin activity (PRA), and the daily maintenance dose of prednisone in 18 homograft recipients.

SARS-CoV-2–specific Humoral and Cellular Immunities in Kidney Transplant Recipients and Dialyzed Patients Recovered From Severe and Nonsevere COVID-19

open access: yesTransplantation Direct, 2021
Background. Kidney transplantation and dialysis are two major risk factors for severe forms of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The dynamics of the immune response to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in this population ...

The effect of intravenous vitamin C on the phosphorus level reduction in hemodialysis patients: A double blind randomized clinical trial [PDF]

Different Effects of Low Weight Molecular Heparin and Unfractioned Heparin on Lipid Profile and Coagulation at Haemodialysis Patients

open access: yesBiomolecules & Biomedicine, 2010
Each haemodialysis treatment requires the application of anticoagulation medicines, which will prevent coagulation in extracorporal blood circulation. In this study we try to determine the quality of admitted anticoagulant and his effect on lipid profile
