Echocardiographic Assessment of Right Heart Hemodynamic Parameters
Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, 2007Echocardiography is currently the primary clinical method for the noninvasive measurement of right heart hemodynamic parameters and is an indispensable tool for the initial assessment, diagnosis, longitudinal follow-up, and prognostication of patients with abnormal right heart function.

Probabilitic Fusion of Hemodynamic Parameter Maps
Critical Reviews in Biomedical Engineering, 2000Hemodynamic parameter maps (HPMs) depict values of parameters of hemodynamic response, namely, gain, lag, and dispersion, in response to neuronal activation. Large intensity values of any of the HPMs indicate greater likelihoods of brain activation. We apply the probabilistic data fusion equation to combine three HPMs.

Hemodynamic parameter estimation from ocular fluorescein angiograms
Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, 1995A method is proposed for parameterizing choroidal blood flow from fluorescein angiograms. After digitizing and aligning the angiographic sequence, the intensity build-up curves of fluorescence are analysed per pixel (approx. 10 microns in fundo). Two models are compared.

Advanced assessment of hemodynamic parameters during donor care
Progress in Transplantation, 2003Detailed evaluation of cardiovascular function by hemodynamic “profiling” during donor care may be necessary to select appropriate treatment for hypotension. Preload, systemic vascular resistance, heart rate, and contractility are all determinants of cardiac output and blood pressure.

Carotid web catheter angiography hemodynamic parameters
Journal of NeuroInterventional SurgeryBackground Carotid web (CaW)-related contrast stagnation on digital subtraction angiography (DSA) may be a marker supporting the pathophysiological theory of stasis and thrombosis/embolization. We aim to assess the correlation between DSA hemodynamic parameters with CT angiography (CTA) structural measurements and clinical characteristics.

Apparatus for measuring hemodynamic parameters
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2005The present invention is directed toward an ultrasonography apparatus for measuring and/or monitoring hemodynamic activity, such as blood flow. The present invention comprises a doppler ultrasound unit, one or more transducers, and a portable body.

Timing of hemodynamic pressure measurements on derived hemodynamic parameters.
Dynamics (Pembroke, Ont.), 2004The purpose of this study was to examine the difference between hemodynamic pressures and parameters obtained pre- compared to post-thermodilution CO measurements. A repeated measures within subject design was conducted with a cardiac surgical cohort. Three measures of hemodynamic pressures and parameters were determined pre- and post-CO measurements ...

Critical Care Hemodynamic Parameters and Pharmacologic Interventions
Critical Care Nursing Clinics of North America, 2002Hemodynamics are a critical component in treatment of serious illness in the ICU setting. Understanding hemodynamic parameters and their implications for care is a cornerstone of critical care nursing. Appropriate interventions for hemodynamic instability and a thorough understanding of the rationale for the intervention make the difference for the ...

Optic Nerve Decompression Improves Hemodynamic Parameters in Papilledema
Ophthalmology, 1993The purpose of this study is to examine changes in color Doppler imaging parameters before and after optic nerve sheath decompression (ONSD) for chronic papilledema caused by pseudotumor cerebri (PTC).Color Doppler imaging was performed within 48 hours before surgery and within 48 hours after the procedure using a color Doppler unit with a 7.5-MHz ...

Relationship between hemodynamic parameters and cerebral aneurysm initiation
2018 40th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC), 2018Research on the relationship between cerebralaneurysm initiation and hemodynamic parameters, but several open questions remain on initiation and growth mechanisms of cerebral aneurysms. If factors contributing to initiation were identified, it would be possible to predict the initiation of aneurysms.
