Selenium‐Containing Polyurethane Thermo‐Sensitive Hydrogel Accelerates Diabetic Wound Healing by Activating Unfolded Protein Response

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
The selenium‐containing polyurethane (SePU) thermo‐sensitive hydrogel (SePU/HBC) was constructed by incorporating SePU into hydroxybutyl chitosan (HBC). This hydrogel alleviates endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) and inhibits cell apoptosis by activating the unfolded protein response (UPR), thereby promoting diabetic wound healing.

Preclinical common data elements for general pharmacological studies (pharmacokinetic sample collection, tolerability, and drug administration). A report of the TASK3‐WG1A General Pharmacology Working Group of the ILAE/AES Joint Translational Task Force

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Growing concerns over rigor and reproducibility of preclinical studies, including consistency across laboratories and translation to clinical populations, have triggered efforts to harmonize methodologies. This includes the first set of preclinical common data elements (CDEs) for epilepsy research studies, as well as Case Report Forms (CRFs ...

Mixed Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia: A Systematic Review of Epidemiology, Clinical Characteristics, Therapies, and Outcomes

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 100, Issue 8, Page 1397-1407, August 2025.
Mixed autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is a rare condition characterized by the presence of both warm and cold autoantibodies, often leading to severe, treatment‐resistant hemolysis. In this systematic review of 81 patients across 35 studies, the median age was 45 years with a notable female predominance.

A Rare Case; Hemolytic Disease of Newborn Associated with Anti-jkb

open access: yesGüncel Pediatri, 2015
Jka and Jkb antibodies (Kidd blood group system) can cause acute and delayed type transfusion reactions as well as hemolytic disease of newborn. Jka and Jkb antibodies are seen after events like blood transfusions, pregnancy, abortion and curettage ...
