Rapid and selective concentration of bacteria, viruses, and proteins using alternating current signal superimposition on two coplanar electrodes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Dielectrophoresis (DEP) is usually effective close to the electrode surface. Several techniques have been developed to overcome its drawbacks and to enhance dielectrophoretic particle capture.

Targeted Extracellular Vesicles Deliver Asiaticoside to Inhibit AURKB/DRP1‐Mediated Mitochondrial Fission and Attenuate Hypertrophic Scar Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 21, 13 April 2026.
Hypertrophic scar formation is driven by excessive mitochondrial fission in wound macrophages, which we discover is governed by a novel AURKB‐DRP1(Ser616) axis. The study develops a targeted therapy using cRGD‐decorated extracellular vesicles to deliver the natural compound Asiaticoside specifically to macrophages.

Analytical and clinical validation of the Lumipulse G plasma p‐tau217 assay for clinical implementation

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Although several plasma tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (p‐tau217) immunoassays are now available, comprehensive analytical validation remains limited. We therefore evaluated the Lumipulse G plasma p‐tau217 assay and verified established cutoffs for clinical implementation.

Yellow fever in the diagnostics laboratory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Yellow fever (YF) remains a public health issue in endemic areas despite the availability of a safe and effective vaccine. In 2015-2016, urban outbreaks of YF were declared in Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a sylvatic outbreak has been ...
