Changes in the cervicovaginal microbiota composition of HPV16‐infected patients after clinical treatment

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 5037-5049, December 2022., 2022
This study interpreted the differential profiles of cervicovaginal microbiota and CSTs between HC women and HPV16‐infected women with CIN I, CIN II/III or SCC. The relationship between HPV16 clearance and cervicovaginal microbiota composition in each disease stage before and after clinical treatments was also established.

Multi‐Module Micro/Nanorobots for Biomedical and Environmental Remediation Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Multi‐module microrobots (MNRs) have overcome the limitations of single‐module systems by integrating components such as propeller, actuator, manipulator, and imaging modalities. They show promise in biomedical applications, such as targeted drug delivery and tissue repair, as well as in environmental remediation, including pollutant removal.

A necroptosis‐related gene signature for predicting prognosis, immune landscape, and drug sensitivity in hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 5079-5096, December 2022., 2022
Necroptosis is a newly discovered form of cell necrosis that plays a vital role in cancer development. We identified a necroptosis‐related gene signature based on the TCGA cohort, which was validated externally in the ICGC‐LIRI‐JP and GSE14520 cohorts.

Splenomegaly in predicting the survival of patients with advanced primary liver cancer treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 4880-4888, December 2022., 2022
Kaplan–Meier analysis demonstrated that patients with splenomegaly had worse OS than those without splenomegaly. Abstract Background & aims Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) play an increasingly important role in the treatment of primary liver cancer (PLC). Some patients with PLC experience symptoms of splenomegaly.

A Transcriptome‐Wide Mendelian Randomization Study in Isolated Human Immune Cells Highlights Risk Genes Involved in Viral Infections and Potential Drug Repurposing Opportunities for Schizophrenia

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Schizophrenia is a neurodevelopmental psychiatric disorder characterized by symptoms of psychosis, thought disorder, and flattened affect. Immune mechanisms are associated with schizophrenia, though the precise nature of this relationship (causal, correlated, consequential) and the mechanisms involved are not fully understood.

Advances in exosome biomarkers for cervical cancer

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 4966-4978, December 2022., 2022
Cancer‐derived exosomes may promote CC metastasis by boosting cellular epithelial‐mesenchymal transformation (EMT), controlling the proliferation, invasion, or migration of cancer cells, as well as influencing immune escape and aiding angiogenesis.
