CR326 human hepatitis A virus purified by isopycnic banding from infected marmoset sera was shown to consist of 27 mmu spherical particles on electron microscopic examination. A genome-integrated hepatitis B virus DNA in human neuroblastoma

An integrated hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA has been identified in a human neuroblastoma, cloned and sequenced. The integrated HBV DNA is not rearranged, although a 480-bp fragment is deleted. The integrated viral DNA covers the C gene fragment, the region of Pre-S and S, and the 3'-truncated X gene.

Propagation of human hepatitis A virus in a hepatoma cell line

Hepatitis A virus (HAV) was isolated directly from human feces and propagated serially in an HBsAg producing human hepatoma cell line. No cytopathic effect was observed in the tissue culture and no detectable amounts of HAV were present in the tissue culture supernatant fluid.
