A genome-integrated hepatitis B virus DNA in human neuroblastoma

Gene, 1995
An integrated hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA has been identified in a human neuroblastoma, cloned and sequenced. The integrated HBV DNA is not rearranged, although a 480-bp fragment is deleted. The integrated viral DNA covers the C gene fragment, the region of Pre-S and S, and the 3'-truncated X gene.

Propagation of human hepatitis A virus in a hepatoma cell line

Infection, 1979
Hepatitis A virus (HAV) was isolated directly from human feces and propagated serially in an HBsAg producing human hepatoma cell line. No cytopathic effect was observed in the tissue culture and no detectable amounts of HAV were present in the tissue culture supernatant fluid.

Hepatitis C virus, hepatitis B virus and human immunodeficiency virus infection in pregnant women in North-East Italy: A seroepidemiological study

European Journal of Epidemiology, 2000
Pregnant women can be considered a sentinel population, because they are a relatively unselected population whose prevalence data may be extended to the general population.A seroepidemiological study was carried out in Padua (North-East Italy) to assess the epidemiological aspects of HCV.

[Purification of hepatitis A virus from human feces].

Comptes rendus des seances de l'Academie des sciences. Serie III, Sciences de la vie, 1982
Hepatitis A virus was purified from on early acute phase human stool by a procedure using 10% polyethylene glycol precipitation, sepharose 2B gel filtration, isopycnic banding in cesium chloride, rate zonal separation in sucrose - 99,5% of the 280 nm absorbing fecal impurities were removed.
