Bryophytes of Libya. I. Hepatophyta: an Annotated Checklist [PDF]
Egyptian Journal of Botany, 2017 THE list of Hepatophyta in Libya includes 29 taxa in 15 genera, 14 families, 7 orders and two classes. Anthocerotae is represented by one species while Hepaticae by 27 species. No species were reported after 1968; recent collections are therefore necessary. Riccia is dominant being represented by 12 species. Synonyms are given in a separate list.

Novon, 2002 Trichocolea elegans Lehmann is transferred to the genus Leiomitra Lindberg, because gynoecia have been found in several specimens with a coelocaule, perianth, and thin calyptra. Leiomitra smaragdina Haissel sp. nov. also belongs to this genus as confirmed through female specimens.

Bryophyte Diversity and Evolution, 2002 Four species of Metzgeria found in northwestern Argentina are described and illustrated. All the species are new to northwestern Argentina, with exception of M. myriopoda Lindb. (known for Tucumán and Misiones), and are new records for Argentina.

Revista del Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales, 1999 : Chiloscyphus subgenus Phaeochiloscyphus J. J. Engel & R. M. Schust. is revised and shown to contain two species, C. durus (Steph.) Hassel, comb. nov. and C. magellanicus Steph. Study of additional material has shown that Chiloscyphus hookeri J.J. Engel must be treated as a new synonym of C. durus , as is Leptoscyphus decipiens Mitt.,
