Multiple-herbicide-resistant (MHR) waterhemp has been confirmed in 18 Ontario counties. A total of four experiments were conducted in commercial fields with MHR waterhemp in 2020 and 2021 to evaluate preplant (PP) herbicide tank mixtures for control of MHR waterhemp in no-till corn.

Herbicide program can control kikuyugrass in cool-season turf [PDF]
Kikuyu grass is an invasive perennial weed of turf grass in California. Currently, complete renovation of infested turf is the most practical means of control, but this process can cost more than $1,500 per acre and it removes the sward from use for up to 3 months.

Herbicide Metabolic Resistance in Poaceae Plants via the GA‐GID1/DELLA‐DOF2‐P450s Module
Plant hormone signaling modulates herbicide resistance in Echinochloa crus‐galli. The GA–DELLA–DOF2 cascade directly activates P450 detoxification genes in two Poaceae species, uncovering a core mechanism of metabolic herbicide resistance. ABSTRACT Barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus‐galli) is one of the world's most important weeds, and the evolution of ...

Farmers' Preferences for Gene Editing Crops and Influencing Factors
ABSTRACT Gene editing (GE) is gaining momentum worldwide, but limited data on UK farmers' preferences hinders our understanding of its potential impact amid deregulation debates. Based on a survey of 200 English arable farmers, we employ a Latent Class Analysis and Multinomial Logit regressions to investigate current preferences for GE crops.
