Facilitated Transport of Organic Contaminants in a High Concentration, Multicomponent Plume
Abstract A field experiment evaluated the transport of organic contaminants in a plume from hazardous waste disposal areas at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. The plume contained many xenobiotic contaminants, with widely varying expected mobilities.

The detrimental effects of conventional farming on bird biodiversity are increasingly documented. Despite this, the specific impacts of both organic and conventional farming practices on bird coloration and sperm quality in natural settings remain unexplored. This study aimed to determine whether these farming practices differentially affect body mass,

Water availability and land‐use shape the diversity of Odonata in the Middle East
Odonata diversity in the Middle East depends on the availability of long‐lasting waters, emphasizing the importance of preserving stable aquatic habitats for biodiversity conservation under climate change‐driven droughts. Agricultural expansion is associated with increased Odonata species richness, but overall trait diversity remains limited ...

When Numbers Mean Money: Pest Precision Sampling in High‐Density Mango Crops
ABSTRACT The development of sampling plans is essential for assertive decision‐making in integrated pest management programs. The present study aimed to develop a plan for monitoring major mango pests in high‐density mango crops in Brazil. For this purpose, the influence of the position of the branch to be sampled in the canopy (internal and external ...
