Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Stochastic analysis of a prey–predator model with herd behaviour of prey
In nature, a number of populations live in groups. As a result when predators attack such a population the interaction occur only at the outer surface of the herd.

Comparison of Bull-Dam Herds, Progeny Testing Herds, and Other Dairy Herd Improvement Herds
Abstract Michigan and Northeast dairy herds that produced young bulls for AI sampling from 1974 to 1981 and 1978 to 1981, respectively, and those involved in progeny testing were compared with their contemporary DHI herds. The 1985 lactation records of Michigan herds and 1980 to 1987 data of Northeast herds were acquired from respective DHIA data ...

The versatile precursor‐assisted soft sphere close packing during slot‐die coating is investigated with in situ X‐ray scattering. The soft crystallization pathways towards a close packing involve multistep structural transitions such as surface nucleation, in‐plane, and out‐of‐plane crystallization.

Herd behaviour in extreme market conditions: The case of the Athens stock exchange [PDF]
This paper examines herd behaviour in extreme market conditions using data from the Athens Stock Exchange. We test for the presence of herding as suggested by Christie and Huang (1995) and Chang, Cheng, and Khorana (2000).
