¿Un nuevo poema de Aristóteles o un error de transmisión textual? A propósito de Him. Or 40.40-55 [PDF]

Neuroanatomical shifts mirror patterns of ecological divergence in three diverse clades of mimetic butterflies. [PDF]
Abstract Microhabitat partitioning in heterogenous environments can support more diverse communities but may expose partitioned species to distinct perceptual challenges. Divergence across microhabitats could therefore lead to local adaptation to contrasting sensory conditions across small spatial scales, but this aspect of community structuring is ...

Protein fouling during constant‐flux virus filtration: Mechanisms and modeling
Sequential pore blockage—cake filtration model is able to describe fouling during constant‐flux filtration using parameters evaluated from constant pressure experiments. Capacity shows a minimum at intermediate filtrate flux due to the different contributions from pore blockage and cake filtration mechanisms at low and high flux.

Mutualistic interactions shape global spatial patterns and climatic niche evolution in Neotropical mimetic butterflies: mimicry turnover at the continental scale demonstrates large‐scale spatial congruence of phenotypically similar ithomiine butterflies (Nymphalidae: Danainae) associated with the climatic niche convergence of mimetic species.

Design of an integrated membrane system to produce dairy by‐product from waste processing
Dairy waste valorization by integrated membrane processes Summary Membrane technology is used in different applications. In this work, a whey‐based product with a final protein content of 16% has been formulated from Scotta – the last waste of the dairy industry – by cross‐flow ultrafiltration (UF) membrane followed by vacuum evaporation (EV).

Abstract Aim The biodiversity crisis has highlighted the need to assess and map biodiversity in order to prioritize conservation efforts. Clearwing butterflies (tribe Ithomiini) have been proposed as biological indicators for habitat quality in Neotropical forests, which contain the world's richest biological communities.

Party Nomination Strategies in List Proportional Representation Systems
Abstract In list proportional representation (PR) systems, parties shape political selection. We propose a theory of party list choice and elections in list PR systems. Our results describe how a party allocates candidates of heterogeneous quality across list ranks depending on (1) its policy goals and (2) its competitive environment.

Global Alignment of Carbon Nanotubes via High Precision Microfluidic Dead‐End Filtration
A custom microfluidic setup capable of precise control and measurement of the volume rate, transmembrane pressure, and resistance is used to probe the mechanism behind the global alignment of carbon nanotubes by dead end filtration. Alignment is shown for both positively and negatively charged carbon nanotubes and on membranes with and without surface ...

A metamodeling approach for the simulation of energy and media demand for the brewing industry
Abstract Due to economic, social and technical trends, as well as rising energy costs, the food and beverage industry is challenged to work energy‐efficiently. Small and medium‐sized enterprises in particular lack of both time and knowledge to identify and implement suitable energy efficiency measures.
