Hermite interpolation with B-splines
Computer Aided Geometric Design, 1989The goal of this paper is to construct a B-spline basis for a certain class S of piecewise polynomial functions and a representation of a function \(F\in S\) that performs the required interpolation. This is done by constructing an appropriate knot sequence and then applying the de Boor-Fix functionals to produce the B-spline coefficients for F.
