Hermite Interpolation on a Simplex
Summary: In the paper, we solve the problem of polynomial interpolation and approximation functions of several variables on an \(n\)-dimensional simplex in the uniform norm using polynomials of the third degree. We choose interpolation conditions in terms of derivatives in the directions of the edges of a simplex.

PolyâEtherâEtherâKetone Melt Behavior in Fused Deposit Modeling Printing Moves
A thin solidified layer forms at the print bed during FDM of PEEK, reducing the effective shear height and raising the effective shear rate above the nominal value. Surface defects emerge once the effective shear rate exceeds a critical value of approximately 750 sâ1.

Interpolating Industrial Robot Orientation with Hermite Spline Curve Based on Logarithmic Quaternion
Smooth orientation planning has an important influence on the working quality and service life as for industrial robot. Based on the logarithmic quaternion, a compact method to map a spline curve from Cartesian space to quaternion space is proposed, and ...

Terrain Synthesis and Authoring based on IsoâContours
Abstract Digital terrains are central to realistic landscape depiction, yet authoring tools must balance perceptual realism with intuitive artistic control. We propose a compact vectorâbased representation that models terrain as nested isoâcontours, inspired by geomorphology and cartography.

Tubes or Ribbons? Comparing Textureâspace Visualization for Multivariate Line Data
Abstract Multivariate line data is critical for analyzing flow fields, agent systems, and dynamic trajectories. Embedding secondary variables along spatial paths using surfaceâbased primitives such as ribbons and circular tubes introduces challenges related to perspective, scale, and distortion.

Parallel Vectors Extraction using Bézier Clipping
Abstract In this paper, we propose a novel local feature extraction algorithm for the parallel vectors (PV) operator. Our method is based on BĂ©zier clipping, which is a bracketingâbased root finding method that is commonlyâused in computerâaided geometric design.
