On the degree of approximation of the Hermite and Hermite-Fejer interpolation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1992
Here we find the order of convergence of the Hermite and Hermite-Fejér interpolation polynomials constructed on the zeros of (1−x2)Pn(x) where Pn(x) is the Legendre polynomial of degree n with normalization Pn(1)=1.

Expressing Sums of Finite Products of Chebyshev Polynomials of the Second Kind and of Fibonacci Polynomials by Several Orthogonal Polynomials

open access: yesMathematics, 2018
This paper is concerned with representing sums of the finite products of Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind and of Fibonacci polynomials in terms of several classical orthogonal polynomials.

L1-norm convergence of Hermite-Fejér interpolation based on the Laguerre and Hermite abscissas [PDF]

open access: yesRendiconti di Matematica e delle Sue Applicazioni, 1994
: Convergence results are proved for Hermite–Fejér interpolation at the zeros of polynomials orthogonal with respect to generalized Laguerre and Hermite weights. These results can be applied to convergence of product integration rules.

Representing by Orthogonal Polynomials for Sums of Finite Products of Fubini Polynomials

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In the classical connection problem, it is dealt with determining the coefficients in the expansion of the product of two polynomials with regard to any given sequence of polynomials.

A note on the monomiality principle and generalized polynomials [PDF]

open access: yesRendiconti di Matematica e delle Sue Applicazioni, 2001
The monomiality principle is used to state generalized forms of the division algorithm and of the remainder theorem for families of polynomials written as linear combination of Hermite polynomials.

Hermite and Laguerre Symmetric Functions Associated with Operators of Calogero-Moser-Sutherland Type

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2012
We introduce and study natural generalisations of the Hermite and Laguerre polynomials in the ring of symmetric functions as eigenfunctions of infinite-dimensional analogues of partial differential operators of Calogero-Moser-Sutherland (CMS) type.
