Accuracy of Novice Raters for Esophageal Motility Classifications Using Functional Lumen Imaging Probe Panometry

open access: yesNeurogastroenterology &Motility, Volume 38, Issue 7, July 2026.
Eight novice raters without motility experience completed brief FLIP panometry training and interpreted 40 studies using v1.0 and v2.0 classification schemes. Accuracy compared to expert consensus was high (v1.0: 0.78, v2.0: 0.73), with good‐to‐moderate interrater agreement (v1.0: κ 0.61, v2.0: κ 0.55).
