Classification of Ventral Hernias and Inguinal Hernias

In ventral and inguinal hernias, various classifications are used today. One of the most commonly used and accepted is the EHS for inguinal hernia and ventral hernias, and there is a great deal of consensus surrounding its use. It is a simple scale which includes recurrence, localization, width, and length for the entire abdominal wall.
