HPV‐6 Positive Eruptive Verruca Vulgaris After Upadacitinib Initiation for Severe Atopic Dermatitis

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Oral JAK‐1 inhibitors for atopic dermatitis (AD) are associated with an increased risk of cutaneous viral infections, particularly herpes zoster. Ultrasound‐Guided Liposomal vs. Conventional Bupivacaine Erector Spinae Plane Block Plus Gabapentin for Postherpetic Neuralgia

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aimed to compare efficacy and safety of ultrasound‐guided erector spinae plane block (ESPB) using liposomal (LB) versus conventional bupivacaine (CB), each plus standardized gabapentin, in patients with postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). A total of 116 PHN patients were randomized to ESPB‐LB or ESPB‐CB; both groups received standardized ...

Association Between Prednisone and Delayed Facial Nerve Palsy After Acoustic Neuroma Resection

open access: yesThe Laryngoscope, EarlyView.
Discharge with an oral prednisone taper was not associated with a reduced incidence of delayed facial nerve palsy following acoustic neuroma resection, even after rigorous adjustment for confounding using inverse probability weighting. The findings do not support routine prophylactic corticosteroid use for this indication.
