The transition of cetaceans from a terrestrial to an aquatic environment involved a crucial sensory adaptation to environments with limited visibility. Vibrissae, important mechanoreceptors, undergo an ontogenetic transformation in odontocetes. This research describes the histomorphology of vibrissae and crypts at different developmental stages ...

Generalized Laplace transform with matrix variables
In the present paper we have extended generalized Laplace transforms of Joshi to the space of m×m symmetric matrices using the confluent hypergeometric function of matrix argument defined by Herz as kernel.

The main purpose of this paper is to establish the weighted boundedness result of vector valued bilinear $ \varpi(t) $-type Calderón-Zygmund operators in variable exponents Herz-Morrey spaces, where $ \varpi $ being nondecreasing and $ \varpi\in \rm{Dini}

Herz-type Sobolev spaces on domains
Summary: We introduce Herz-type Sobolev spaces on domains, which unify and generalize the classical Sobolev spaces. We will give a proof of the Sobolev-type embedding for these function spaces. All these results generalize the classical results on Sobolev spaces. Some remarks on Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg inequality are given.

Food, Affluence and the Consumption Basket*
There are significant disparities across nations in incomes and spending. For example, consumers in the poorest countries spend more than half of their income on food, while in the richest, this is one‐tenth or less. We use data from the International Comparison Program for 176 countries to estimate cross‐country demand equations focusing on food and ...

The boundedness of commutators of rough p-adic fractional Hardy type operators on Herz-type spaces
In this paper, we obtain some inequalities about commutators of a rough p-adic fractional Hardy-type operator on Herz-type spaces when the symbol functions belong to two different function spaces.

Plain Reading, Subtle Meaning: Rethinking the IOIA and the Immunity of International Organizations [PDF]
Immunity is freedom from liability, and as such, it can quite literally provide a “get out of jail free” card. In the United States, international organizations face uncertainty about the scope of their immunity, which is provided by the International ...

To document the current distribution of Leptopilina japonica in France and compare its genetic background, we collected wild fleshy‐fruited plants and cultivated cherries from 11 sites across different regions. The fruits were collected from the canopy. We calculated the percentage of emerging individuals of L.

Sobolev embeddings in grand variable Herz-Morrey Besov spaces
This paper develops a comprehensive framework for the study of grand variable Herz-Morrey Besov spaces with variable smoothness and integrability.

In this paper, we study the boundedness of the commutator of the rough fractional Hausdorff operator on grand-variable-Herz-Morrey spaces when the symbol functions belong to bounded mean oscillations (BMO) space.
