Decision making with multiplicative hesitant fuzzy linguistic preference relations

Neural Computing and Applications, 2017
This study introduces a new type of preference relations called multiplicative hesitant fuzzy linguistic preference relations (MHFLPRs) to denote the asymmetrically qualitative hesitancy information of decision makers. Unlike hesitant fuzzy linguistic preference relations, MHFLPRs are defined on unbalanced scaled linguistic sets.

Group decision making with interval linguistic hesitant fuzzy preference relations

Expert Systems with Applications, 2019
Abstract This paper introduces a new type of fuzzy sets called interval linguistic hesitant fuzzy sets (ILHFSs), which can address the qualitatively uncertain preferences of decision makers as well as reflect their hesitancy. Such fuzzy sets endow the decision makers with more flexibility: (i) several interval linguistic variables are allowed to ...

Consensus building for hesitant fuzzy preference relations with multiplicative consistency

Computers & Industrial Engineering, 2019
Abstract Considering that consensus is an essential part of a group decision-making process, this study focuses on building consensus for hesitant fuzzy preference relations (HFPRs) with multiplicative consistency. To achieve this goal, firstly, a new multiplicative consistency concept for the HFPR is proposed.

The Ordinal Consistency of a Hesitant Fuzzy Preference Relation

Journal of Interconnection Networks
An efficient solution to the misleading solutions of decision-making problems is the study of consistency when the decision makers express their opinions by means of fuzzy preference relations. To elucidate the consistency of HFPRs, the S-ordinal consistency of HFPRs was proposed, and S-OCI was also proposed to evaluate the degree of consistency of a ...

MANAGING HESITANT INFORMATION IN GDM PROBLEMS UNDER FUZZY AND MULTIPLICATIVE PREFERENCE RELATIONS

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2013
In the process of group decision making (GDM), preference relations (e.g. fuzzy preference relation and multiplicative preference relation) are very popular tools to express decision makers' preferences, especially when a set of alternatives (or criteria) are compared.

A consensus process for hesitant fuzzy linguistic preference relations

2015 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2015
The recently proposed hesitant fuzzy linguistic terms sets (HFLTSs) are utilized to represent the expert's subjective preferences in a linguistic preference relation and therefore a hesitant fuzzy linguistic preference relation (HFLPR) is constructed.

A farmland choice based on hesitant fuzzy linguistic preferences relations

International Journal of Process Management and Benchmarking, 2018
A new type of fuzzy preference structure, called hesitant linguistic preference relations, is developed in order to describe uncertain evaluation information in group decision-making (GDM) farmland choice. Moreover, it allows decision makers to offer all possible linguistic terms that are not accounted for in current preference structure types when we ...
