Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations, 2022In this paper, the authors study the Hessian quotient equation \[ \frac{\sigma_k(\eta)}{\sigma_l(\eta)}=f(x) \] for combinatory indices \(k, l\), where \(\eta_i\equiv\Sigma_{j\not=i}\lambda_j\) and \(\lambda=(\lambda_1,\dots,\lambda_n)\) are the eigenvalues of the Hessian matrix \(D^2u\).
