Effects of Cover Crops on Population Reduction of Soybean Cyst Nematode (Heterodera glycines).
Microplot experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of cover crops on population reduction of a major soybean pest, soybean cyst nematode (SCN; Heterodera glycines Ichinohe) in 2016 and 2017.

Abstract Soybean (Glycine max) is a major crop for grain and oil production worldwide. However, soybean cyst nematode (SCN) disease is a serious threat to soybean cultivation, causing major challenges for agriculture in China and globally. In this study, 306 soybean germplasms were evaluated for resistance to SCN HG type 0 using the female index (FI ...

Climate, Rotation, and Tillage Impacts on Soybean Yield Gains in a 50‐Year Experiment
Soybean productivity increases from 1975 to 2024 in a rainfed Mollisol experiment in Indiana, USA, were shaped by genetic improvements, crop rotation, tillage, and climate. Despite rising spring temperatures (+1.6°C), yields increased steadily even in monocrop soybean and showed greater resilience in No‐Till systems.

ABSTRACT Legume crops, essential for global agriculture due to their high nutritional value and nitrogen‐fixing ability, often face significant yield reductions from environmental stresses like salinity, drought and extreme temperatures. Seed priming has emerged as a promising pre‐sowing strategy to improve seed vigour, stress tolerance and overall ...
