Macroeconomic stability and heterogeneous expectations
The recent macroeconomic literature has been stressing the role of heterogeneous expectations in the formulation of monetary policy and recent laboratory experiments provided more evidence about this phenomenon.

Self-consistent modelling of heterogeneous materials with an elastic-viscoplastic behavior: Application to polycrystalline agregates [PDF]
The self-consistent scheme is a common homogenization method that was developed to connect local deformation mechanisms to the overall behavior of heterogeneous disordered materials.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Tax reform, delocation and heterogeneous firms [PDF]
The standard international tax model is extended to allow for heterogeneous firms when agglomeration forces are important thus allowing us to study the relocation effects of taxes that vary according to firm size.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Asset Price Dynamics in a Financial Market with Heterogeneous Trading Strategies and Time Delays [PDF]
In this paper we present a continuous time dynamical model of heterogeneous agents interacting in a financial market where transactions are cleared by a market maker.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Heterogeneous Beliefs in a Continuous-Time Model [PDF]
In an exchange economy under uncertainty populated by consumers having constant and equal relative risk aversion but heterogeneous probabilistic beliefs, we analyze the nature of the representative consumer's probabilistic belief and discount rates.
