Heterogeneous Metal Complex Catalysts
Russian Chemical Reviews, 1978The review is devoted to methods of synthesis and catalytic properties of heterogeneous metal complex catalysts in which the selectivity and activity of homogeneous metal complexes and the technological advantages of traditional heterogeneous catalysts are combined.

Abstract of GB 2309655 (A) Heterogeneous catalysts comprising one or more metal compounds selected from the group consisting of tin, molybdenum, tungsten, zirconium and selenium compounds deposited on the surface of a silicalite are provided. Preferably Sn(IV) and/or Mo(VI) are employed. The catalysts are prepared by reacting a metal halide compound in

“HETEROGENIZING” HOMOGENEOUS CATALYSTS
Catalysis Reviews, 1974Abstract For many years, it has been customary to classify catalysts as “homogeneous” or “heterogeneous.” The former commonly operate through the formation of “intermediate compounds,” and the latter, by adsorption of the reactants on the catalyst surface.

Heterogenization of homogeneous catalysts
Journal of Molecular Catalysis, 1986The surface reactions which take place when TiCl4 is reacted with -AlEtCl or -AlEt2 on a silica surface have been studied by EPR and chemical analysis. These systems have been compared to the reverse reactions, when -TiCl3 anchored to the silica surface is reacted with Et2AlCl or Et3Al.

Designing heterogeneous oxidation catalysts
1999A simplified approach is described to aid the design of uranium oxide catalysts for the destruction of VOCs by catalytic oxidation. The design approach is based on three components, and for selective oxidation this involves identifying catalysts that (a) do not catalyse the oxidation of the required product under reaction conditions, (b) activate the ...
