Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Consumers’ gasoline price expectations: Who reacts to what?

open access: yesCentral Bank Review
This paper examines how U.S. consumers form twelve-month-ahead expectations about gasoline prices using data from the New York Fed's Survey of Consumer Expectations (SCE).

Foreign Exchange Expectations in Indonesia: Regime Switching Chartists & Fundamentalists Approach

open access: yesBuletin Ekonomi Moneter dan Perbankan, 2018
In this research, the effect of central bank intervention within a heterogeneous expectations exchange rate model, is investigated. The empirical evidence is conducted by applying a Markov switching approach to daily USD/IDR exchange rate, intervention ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Dynamic interactions between safe-haven assets and macroeconomic indicators: a quantile and wavelet analysis

open access: yesCogent Economics & Finance
This study examines the dynamic interactions between precious metals, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, safe-haven currencies, and two key macroeconomic indicators, the 5-year breakeven inflation expectation (T5YIE) and the 10-year minus 3-month Treasury ...

From Heterogeneous expectations to exchange rate dynamic: [PDF]

open access: yes
The purpose of this paper is to analyze how heterogeneous behaviors of agents influence the exchange rates dynamic in the short and long terms. We examine how agents use the information and which kind of information, in order to take theirs decisions to ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Individual Expectations and Aggregate Macro Behavior [PDF]

open access: yes
The way in which individual expectations shape aggregate macroeconomic variables is crucial for the transmission and effectiveness of monetary policy. We study the individual expectations formation process and the interaction with monetary policy, within

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Noncausality and Asset Pricing [PDF]

open access: yes
Misspecification of agents' information sets or expectation formation mechanisms maylead to noncausal autoregressive representations of asset prices. Annual US stock prices are found to be noncausal, implying that agents' expectations are not revealed to
