An Evolutionary Framework for Determining Heterogeneous Strategies in Multi-Agent Marketplaces [PDF]

open access: yes
We propose an evolutionary approach for studying the dynamics of interaction of strategic agents that interact in a marketplace. The goal is to learn which agent strategies are most suited by observing the distribution of the agents that survive in the ...

Coordination of heterogeneous nonlinear multi-agent systems with prescribed behaviors [PDF]

open access: yes2015 34th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2015
In this paper, we consider a coordination problem for a class of heterogeneous nonlinear multi-agent systems with a prescribed input-output behavior which was represented by another input-driven system. In contrast to most existing multi-agent coordination results with an autonomous (virtual) leader, this formulation takes possible control inputs of ...

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

Heterogeneous beliefs and and routes to complez dynamics in asset pricing models with price contingent contracts [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper discusses dynamic evolutionary multi-agent systems, as introduced by Brock and Hommes (1997). In particular the heterogeneous agent dynamic asset pricing model of Brock and Hommes (1998) is extended by introducing derivative securities by ...

Engineering Strategies for Stable and Long‐Life Alkaline Zinc‐Based Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Alkaline zinc‐based flow batteries face persistent challenges from unstable zinc deposition, including dendrite growth, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution, which severely limit cycling stability. Current research addresses these issues through coordinated electrode structuring, electrolyte regulation, and membrane design to control zinc ...

Finite-Time Consensus of Heterogeneous Multi-Agent Systems Without Velocity Measurements and With Disturbances via Integral Sliding Mode Control

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, the finite-time consensus protocols are designed to solve the problems of unmeasured velocity and disturbances in heterogeneous multi-agent systems, in which the communications among agents are described by a directed graph.

In‐Situ Solution Complexation for n‐Type Surface‐Energetics Reconstruction in 2.0 eV Ultra‐Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reactive in situ solution complexation strategy reconstructs the surface of 2.0 eV ultra‐wide‐bandgap perovskites via proton transfer. This chemical modulation eliminates metallic defects and induces a degenerate‐like n‐type surface, establishing an Ohmic tunneling contact.
