A New Approach in Regression Analysis for Modeling Adsorption Isotherms
Numerous regression approaches to isotherm parameters estimation appear in the literature. The real insight into the proper modeling pattern can be achieved only by testing methods on a very big number of cases.

A Study of Two Periodogram Algorithms for Improving the Detection of Small Transiting Planets
The sensitivities of two periodograms are compared for weak signal planet detection in transit surveys: the widely used Box Least Squares (BLS) algorithm following light curve detrending and the Transit Comb Filter (TCF) algorithm following ...

Multifrequency-Band Tests for White Noise Under Heteroscedasticity
This article proposes a new family of multifrequency-band tests for the white noise hypothesis by using the maximum overlap discrete wavelet packet transform. At each scale, the proposed multifrequency-band test has the chi-square asymptotic null distribution under mild conditions, which allow the data to be heteroscedastic.
