Spin injection from the Heusler alloy Co_2MnGe into Al_0.1Ga_0.9As/GaAs heterostructures

open access: yes, 2004
Electrical spin injection from the Heusler alloy Co_2MnGe into a p-i-n Al_0.1Ga_0.9As/GaAs light emitting diode is demonstrated. A maximum steady-state spin polarization of approximately 13% at 2 K is measured in two types of heterostructures.

Enhanced Oxidation and Thermal Shock Resistance of N‐type Mg2Si0.89(Sn0.1,Sb0.01) Thermoelectric Material via Cr0.9Si0.1 Coating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 3, 4 February 2026.
Cr0.9Si0.1 protective coatings are developed to enhance the thermal‐shock and oxidation resistance of Mg2Si0.89(Sn0.1,Sb0.01) thermoelectric (TE) materials. The coating forms a dense and adherent barrier that suppresses oxygen diffusion and mitigates mechanical degradation during cyclic oxidation, demonstrating its potential to improve the long‐term ...

Magnetic transformation in Ni-Mn-In Heusler alloy

open access: yesNukleonika, 2015
Magnetic properties of a Ni50Mn35.5In14.5 Heusler ribbon were studied by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) in the temperature range of 335–100 K. In the temperature region of 265–170 K, the FMR signal disappeared, in spite of the fact that this region ...
