Comparative Electrochemical and Mechanical Investigation of Alkali Ion Insertion into Berlin Green
Sequential Li+, Na+, and K+ ion insertion into the same Berlin Green electrode reveals its ion‐tolerant structure and stable morphology, and distinct insertion mechanisms for K+. Stable electrode materials with reversible ion insertion/extraction are central to developing sodium‐ and potassium‐ion batteries as lithium‐ion alternatives.

ABSTRACT Flow capacitive deionisation is an advanced electrochemical technology for water purification and energy‐related applications. It represents a viable alternative to conventional desalination methods due to its low operating voltage, continuous electrode regeneration, and stable performance under moderate‐to‐high salinity conditions. The use of

Th4+ or UO22+ actinides, neutral bipyridine‐N,N’‐dioxide ligands, and anionic cyanoaurate linkers are combined to generate a family of four coordination polymers. ‘Truss bridge’ and square grid cationic frameworks are yielded when using [Au(CN)2]− or [Au(CN)4]−, respectively, indicating a templating effect guided by either aurophilic interactions ...

Oxidation of hexacyanoferrate(II) by peroxodisulphate in aqueous perchloric acid-A kinetic and mechanistic study [PDF]
1090-1094The kinetics of the reaction between hexacyanoferrate(II) and peroxodisulphate has been studied spectroscopically in perchloric acid. The reaction is first order each in peroxodisulphate and hexacyanoferrate(II) concentrations.

Structure of reverse microemulsion-templated metal hexacyanoferrate nanoparticles [PDF]
The droplet phase of a reverse microemulsion formed by the surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium ferrocyanide was used as a matrix to synthesize nanoparticles of nickel hexacyanoferrate by adding just a solution of NiCl2 to the microemulsion media.
