Intercalation of hydrotalcites with hexacyanoferrate(II) and (III)—a thermoRaman spectroscopic study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Solid State Chemistry, 2005
Raman spectroscopy using a hot stage indicates that the intercalation of hexacyanoferrate(II) and (III) in the interlayer space of a Mg Al hydrotalcites leads to layered solids where the intercalated species is both hexacyanoferrate(II) and (III).

Hexacyanoferrate-intercalated nickel zinc hydroxy double salts

open access: yesSolid State Sciences, 2009
When anionic clay like nickel zinc hydroxyacetate was subjected to anion exchange reaction with either hexacyanoferrate(II) or hexacyanoferrate(III) ions, the complex anion intercalation was accompanied by auto redox reactions.

Hexacyanoferrate-interlayered hydrotalcite

Solid State Ionics, 1996
Abstract Hexacyanoferrate(II) and hexacyanoferrate(III) hydrotalcites have been synthesized by exchange of originally existing carbonate ions at pH = 4.5. The samples have been characterized by elemental chemical analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and X-ray absorption spectroscopies, nitrogen adsorption for specific surface area and porosity

Synthesis and Properties of Hexacyanoferrate Interlayered in Hydrotalcite. I. Hexacyanoferrate(II)

Clays and Clay Minerals, 1994
AbstractHydrotalcite (HT) interlayered with hexacyanoferrate(II) ions ([Mg4.62Al1.52(OH)12][(Fe(CN)6)0.30-(CO3)0.29]) has been synthesized from the carbonate-HT ([Mg4.52Al1.50(OH)12][(CO3)0.77]) through double ion exchange reactions, and the products have been studied by chemical and physical methods.
