The controlled growth of surface‐modifying polymer films by electrodeposition often fails because of the lack of redox activity of these compounds. Here, electroactive complexants help to electrodeposit non‐electroactive polymers.

Selective Pseudocapacitive Deionization of Calcium Ions in Copper Hexacyanoferrate
In recent years, the capacitive deionization (CDI) technology has gradually become a promising technology for hard water treatment. Up to now, most of the work for water softening in CDI was severely limited by the inferior selectivity and ...

The Separation of Hexacyanoferrate(II) and Hexacyanoferrate(III) Ions by Reversed-phase Partition Chromatography [PDF]
Abstract The separation of hexacyanoferrate(II) and (III) ions with a TBP-HCl extraction system has been carried out by reversed-phase partition column chromatography. TBP adsorbed on Kel-F powder was used as the stationary phase in the column.

Potential Modulated Intercalation Of Alkali Cations Into Metal Hexacyanoferrate Coated Electrodes [PDF]
Ions intercalate or deintercalate into metal hexacyanoferrate to maintain charge neutrality when iron centers in the matrix are reduced or oxidized, respectively.

Sample dependent performance of aqueous copper hexacyanoferrate/zinc batteries
In this work, we investigate factors affecting the capacity retention of aqueous copper hexacyanoferrate/Zn batteries. We compare the performance of four different copper hexacyanoferrate (CuHCF) samples as cathode in CuHCF/Zn cells with Na2SO4 and ZnSO4

Effects of hexacyanoferrate on cytochrome c oxidase [PDF]
Tiesjema et al. [ 1,2] have reported distinctly different redox behaviours of cytochrome c oxidase in the absence and presence of cytochrome c. In studying this effect we obtained divergent results in redox titrations using ferrocytochrome c or hexacyanoferrate(II), respectively, as the reducing agent. In view of the frequent use of hexacyanoferrate in

Electrically Readable Lateral Flow Assay Using Organic Transistors for Diagnostic Applications
Electrolyte‐gated organic field‐effect transistors (EGOFETs) are integrated with lateral flow (LF) paper fluidics to create a reusable, portable, and low‐cost point‐of‐care (PoC) diagnostic test. The devices are validated for Human Immunoglobulin G detection, achieving high sensitivity (0.1 fm), selectivity, and reproducibility with rapid results in 20–

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
