Investigation of Ferrimagnetic Sr-hexaferrite Nanocrystals for Clinical Hyperthermia
Sr-hexaferrite samples were produced via the conventional ceramic method. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) patterns confirmed the single nanocrystal phase as Sr-hexaferrite where any pattern peaks of unreacted Fe2O3 phase were not detected.

This work introduces an in situ precipitation strategy for the hydrogel‐based vat photopolymerization of architected ceramics and metals with reduced shrinkages and improved densities. Repeated infusion‐precipitation significantly increases metal loading within the hydrogels, which improves part quality after thermal conversion.

Magneto-optical studies of BaFe12O19 films grown by metallo-organic decomposition [PDF]
M-type barium hexagonal ferrites BaFe12O19 (BaM) films considered for new devices that operate in the 40-70 GHz range with small or zero applied magnetic fields were characterized by magneto-optical (MO) complex polar “Kerr” effect (PKE) spectroscopy, MO

Non‐collinear magnetism is of high interest in the field of magnetoelectrics supplying a convenient mechanism to break inversion symmetry and thereby allowing for a spontaneous electrical polarization. Such “multiferroics of spin origin” are inherently suitable for electric field control of magnetism, offering a route toward low power ICT applications.

Barium hexaferrite ceramic permanent magnets
Barium hexaferrite ceramic permanent magnets were manufactured using a locally produced iron oxide. The effect of sintering temperature on the coercivity, remanence, shape of the hysteresis loops, density and shrinkage was studied. The results indicated that grain growth during the sintering process limited the sintering temperature to 1 200 °C for ...
