Synthesis, dielectric and magnetic properties of Mn-Ge substituted Co2Y hexaferrites

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society, 2019
The substituted strontium Y-type hexaferrites Sr2Co2GexMnxFe12−2xO22 (X = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5) was synthesized by sol–gel auto-combustion method. The crystal structures of the present materials were identified using X-ray diffraction analysis.

ASb3Mn9O19 (A = K or Rb): New Mn‐Based 2D Magnetoplumbites with Geometric and Magnetic Frustration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 10, March 12, 2025.
The first Mn‐based magnetoplumbites, ASb3Mn9O19 (A = K or Rb), are discovered, synthesized, and characterized. According to magnetic properties measurements, neutron diffraction, and reverse Monte Carlo refinement, short‐range magnetic correlations are observed in the new materials.

Electrical and dielectric properties of Nb3+ ions substituted Ba-hexaferrites

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2019
Single phase of BaFe12-xNbxO19 (x ≤ 0.1) hexaferrites (HFs) were fabricated via citrate sol-gel route. The Ba hexaferrite formation has been confirmed by XRD and FE-SEM.

Solvothermal Synthesis of SrFe12O19 Hexaferrites: Without Calcinations

open access: yesJournal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism, 2014
In this study, the effect of temperature on the hydrothermal synthesis of single-phase SrFe12O19 hexaferrite (SrM) was investigated. For this synthesis, annealing or calcination process was applied. The Fe/Ba molar ratio was taken as 8:1. In this study, single-phase SrM NPs were synthesized via hydrothermal method.

Cobalt‐Based Materials in Supercapacitors and Batteries: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 6, Issue 2, February 2025.
Cobalt (Co)‐based materials are appropriate as electrode materials in energy storage devices. A combination of Co and ferrite materials such as nickel, zinc, and copper, or Co with nonferrite materials such as metal–organic frameworks and layered double hydroxides has sparked applied research.

Efecto de la adición de Gd2O3 sobre las propiedades magnéticas de hexaferritas de estroncio

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 1999
The hexaferrites (AFe12O19, A = Ba, Sr) have been used since years ago. Because of their low cost these materials continue in the market and they have not been substituted for other powerful magnets.
