Photonic Nanostructures from Hexagonal Boron Nitride
AbstractGrowing interest in devices based on layered van der Waals (vdW) materials is motivating the development of new nanofabrication methods. Hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) is one of the most promising materials for studies of quantum photonics and phonon polaritonics. A promising nanofabrication process used to fabricate several hBN photonic devices

Polymer Brushes on Hexagonal Boron Nitride
AbstractDirect covalent functionalization of large‐area single‐layer hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) with various polymer brushes under mild conditions is presented. The photopolymerization of vinyl monomers results in the formation of thick and homogeneous (micropatterned, gradient) polymer brushes covalently bound to hBN.

Non-linear excitation of quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride multiplayers
Two-photon absorption is an important non-linear process employed for high resolution bio-imaging and non-linear optics. In this work, we realize two-photon excitation of a quantum emitter embedded in a two-dimensional (2D) material.
