Idiomorphic NaYF4 and NaYF4:Ln (Ln = Yb, Er, Tm) crystals with upconversion fluorescence were successfully grown by the NaNO3 flux cooling method at a relatively low holding temperature. The grown NaYF4 and NaYF4:Ln crystals had a hexagonal prismatic form, and their well-developed surfaces were relatively flat.

Formation of ti5(al,si)3 hexagonal crystals in process of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis in ti-al-sio2 system

В работе впервые методом самораспространяющегося высокотемпературного синтеза получен композиционный материал на основе твердого раствора Ti(Al,Si)3. В объеме синтезированного материала формируются стержнеобразные гексагональные кристаллы Ti5Si3, внутренняя область которых обогащена алюминием.
