Waveguide bandwidth isolators requiring virtually no externally applied magnetic field have been developed for the millimeter wave frequency range. These ferrimagnetic resonance-type devices utilize highly anisotropic uniaxial hexagonal ferrites. The specific ferrite compounds used are from the two families BaO·2NiO·ΔAl2O3 · (8-Δ) Fe2O3 and SrO·δAl2O3·

Characterization and curve fittings of Mg+2 substituted R-type hexagonal ferrites
, 2020In the present investigation, the divalent basic element “Sr2+” was replaced with another divalent element “Mg2+” to understand the influential effect of Mg2+ on structural, electrical, dielectric and FTIR properties of Sr2+ based R-type hexagonal ...

Multiferroid properties of hexagonal barium ferrites
Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2016Samples of BaFe12O19 with high multiferroid properties at room temperature (maximum polarization P m = 48.0–9.5 μQ/cm2, residual polarization P r = 28.0–29.5 μQ/cm2, and electric coercive field Е c = 115–120 kV/m) have been obtained for the first time using ...

Morphological features of hexagonal ferrites
Materials Research Bulletin, 1967Abstract Depression growth spirals and vicinal-hill type spirals have been discovered on basal faces of single crystal hexagonal ferrite samples. Electron microscopy studies have resolved sub-unit-cell etch steps on “process etched” and on HCl etched surfaces.

Aligned Co2Z Hexagonal Ferrite Fibers
Additional Conferences (Device Packaging, HiTEC, HiTEN, and CICMT), 2013The hexagonal ferrites, also know as hexaferrites, have become massively important materials commercially and technologically, accounting for the bulk of the total magnetic materials manufactured globally, and they have a multitude of uses and applications. They all have a magnetocrystalline anisotropy; that is the induced magnetization has a preferred

Hexagonal ferrites for bubble domain devices
Materials Research Bulletin, 1970Abstract Large crystals of aluminum substituted magneto-plumbite have been grown from a PbO·PbF 2 ·B 2 O 3 flux. Such materials may be used in bubble domain logic and memory devices. Quality is good for crystals grown with the c-axis horizontal at the bottom of the container while employing a negative vertical temperature gradient.
