Correlation of the atomic structure, magnetic properties and microwave characteristics in substituted hexagonal ferrites

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2018
Present paper describes variation of structure and magnetic properties in diamagnetically doped barium hexaferrites. Al3+ and In3+ diamagnetic ions were chosen for investigation of the correlation between the chemical composition, crystal structure ...

Microwave properties of planar hexagonal ferrites

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1966
A large number of samples of hexagonal ferrite, with planar anisotropy incorporating various metal ions, were synthesized and tested for FMR (ferromagnetic resonance). Measurements were made at room temperature in transmission cavities at frequencies between 10 and 35 Gc/s on magnetically oriented polycrystalline compounds.

Complex permeability of polycrystalline hexagonal ferrites

INTERMAG 2000 Digest of Technical Papers. 2000 IEEE International Magnetics Conference, 2000
Polycrystalline hexagonal ferrites (Y, Z and W-phases) were prepared by the usual ceramic sintering. Their complex permeability spectra were natural resonance type, and numerically separated into spin rotational and domain wall motion components. For the spin rotational component, it was found that the Snoek's product values of them were far beyond the

Single-Domain Properties in Hexagonal Ferrites

Journal of Applied Physics, 1963
Barium ferrite platelet-shaped particles have been prepared with a diameter of 0.1 microns, which is an order of magnitude smaller than those obtained by conventional sintering and regrinding techniques. The preparation technique used has been optimized to produce the complete ferrite with σs=68 emu/g.

Epitaxial Garnets and Hexagonal Ferrites.

1980
Abstract : The objective of this research is to develop new and improved epitaxial ferrite materials for use in microwave and millimeter-wave signal processing devices. The major emphasis has been on multiple layer magnetic garnet structures for magnetostatic wave (MSW) delay lines.

Novel TiO2-doped semiconducting hexagonal ferrites

2015
Hexagonal ferrites are well known, globally important magnetic ceramics, with many applications in electronics and telecommunications, especially at microwave frequencies. However, for useful dielectric properties, it is usually required that they have a low degree of conductivity.
