Crystal and magnetic structure of hexagonal anisotropic polycrystalline ferrites SrFe12O19 obtained by radiation-thermal sintering [PDF]
Hexagonal anisotropic strontium ferrite has found wide application in the fabrication of permanent magnets, active media of UHF electronic devices, and photonics. The performance of hexagonal strontium ferrites depends largely on the synthesis technology.

This work reports the first gram‐scale solvothermal synthesis of ‘Rubik's cube’ nanoparticles—cubic, dendritic multicore structures with tuneable sizes and exceptional magnetic heating performance. Featuring iron oxide single‐domain character, with low coercivity fields, high magnetization, and strong MPI signals, they enable viscosity‐independent ...

STRUCTURAL AND MAGNETIC CHARACTERIZATIONS OF BARIUM-STRONTIUM-FERRITES USING HEMATITE OF ANALYTICAL GRADE AND MAGNETITE FROM COX'S BAZAR BEACH SAND MINERAL [PDF]
This article presents the characterizations of BaO.SrO.xFe2O3 and BaO.SrO.xFe3O4 (x= 5.6, 5.8, 6) hexaferrites. We have used hematite of analytical grade and magnetite from Cox’s Bazar beach sand mineral to prepare these samples.

Morphology and Magnetic Properties of Hexagonal Ferrite Sr₁₋ₓMₓFe₁₂₋ₓZnxO₁₉ (M= La, Dy, Nd, Yb) [PDF]
A permanent magnet in the form of a ring or disc is one of the components in many devices. In this project, hard magnetic ferrite with formula Sr₁₋ₓMₓFe₁₂₋ₓZnxO₁₉ (x= 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9) (M= La, Nd, Dy, Vb) is used because of the low cost, high ...

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Fundamental tribological properties of ceramics [PDF]
When a ceramic is brought into contact with itself, another ceramic, or a metal, strong bond forces can develop between the materials. Adhesion between a ceramic and itself or another solid are discussed from a theoretical consideration of the nature of ...

In this paper we show that spinel ferrite nanocrystals (NiFe2O4, and CoFe2O4) can be texturally embedded inside a ZnO matrix by ion implantation and post-annealing. The two kinds of ferrites show different magnetic properties, e.g.

Easy and green route towards nanostructured ZnO as active sensing material with unexpected H2S dosimeter-type behaviour [PDF]
Nanostructured ZnO particles were prepared through a straightforward, quick and low\u2010temperature synthesis route involving coprecipitation of the metal precursor salts with oxalic acid, followed by hydrothermal treatment at 135 or 160 \ub0C.
