Magnetic Structure of Hexagonal Ba2NiReO6

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1975
The compound Ba2NiReO6 (prepared by the hydrothermal method) has been reported to have a cubic, ordered perovskite type structure. Solid state synthesis of the polycrystalline compound has yielded a six layered hexagonal structure. Long wavelength neutron powder data (λ=2.359A) revealed a contribution from magnetlc scattering which disappeared around ...

Band structure of hexagonal CdTe

Physics Letters A, 1969
Abstract The reflection spectrum of hexagonal CdTe is measured in the region of exciton bands. The magnitudes of spin-orbit splitting, the splitting by the crystal field as well as the electron and hole effective masses are calculated.

Crystal structure of hexagonal polythiomethylene

Die Makromolekulare Chemie, 1966
AbstractThe crystal structure of hexagonal polythiomethylene is described. It has a hexagonal unit cell with a = 5.07 Å. and c = 36.52 Å. The polymer chains are helicoidal with the axis of the helix parallel to c. In the unit cell are comprised 17 CH2Sunits and 9 turns of the helix.

Crystal structure of “hexagonal” MoO3

Reaction Kinetics and Catalysis Letters, 1981
X-ray powder diffraction analysis of the crystal structure of hexagonal MoO3 indicates that this structure is observed for AxMexMoX-xO3 compounds, where A=NH4, K, Rb, Cs, Me=V, P, Sn, Ti, Zr, Si.

Hexagonal structures at lens capsule zonular attachments

Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology, 1997
Two years after uneventful phacoemulsification with posterior intraocular lens implant in an 84-year-old female patient, the capsular bag and enclosed intraocular lens luxated into the vitreous cavity. A vitrectomy was done to extract the lens and capsule for electron-microscopic examination.

Discovery of Hexagonal Structured Pd–B Nanocrystals

Angewandte Chemie, 2017
AbstractWe report on hexagonal close‐packed (hcp) palladium (Pd)–boron (B) nanocrystals (NCs) by heavy B doping into face‐centered cubic (fcc) Pd NCs. Scanning transmission electron microscopy–electron energy loss spectroscopy and synchrotron powder X‐ray diffraction measurements demonstrated that the B atoms are homogeneously distributed inside the ...

Crystal structure of hexagonal polyselenomethylene

Journal of Polymer Science Part A: General Papers, 1965
AbstractThe crystal structure of hexagonal polyselenomethylene is described. It has a hexagonal unit cell with a = 5.22 A. and c = 46.25 A. The polymer chains are helices with the helix axis parallel to c. In the identity period of 46.25 A., there are 21 CH2Se units and 11 turns of the helix.

Cardiolipin forms hexagonal structures with divalent cations

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Biomembranes, 1972
Abstract The structures formed by precipitating acidic phospholipids, particularly cardiolipin, with divalent ions are described, with their structural dimensions. Ca2+, Mg2+ and Ba2+ form hexagonal phases with cardiolipin, the phase being of the H11 type with water cylinders packed hexagonally in a hydrocarbon matrix.

The Crystal Structure of Hexagonal Barium Titanate

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1948
The crystal structure of hexagonal barium titanate has been determined by X-ray methods. The unit cell, which contains six units of BaTiO3, has a0 = 5.735 A. and c0 = 14.05 A. In the space group C63/mmc all the ions occur at special positions: 2 Ba at (b), 4 Ba at (f), 2 Ti at (a), 4 Ti at (f), 6 O at (h), and 12 O at (k).
