The Indochina Entomologist基于现有资料，对四川省低等六足动物多样性进行了系统整理。结果显示四川省已知低等六足动物3纲6目16科42属96种，即弹尾纲8科44种、双尾纲3科14种、原尾纲5科38种。低等六足动物是土壤中重要的分解者，该名录可为进一步研究其生态功能提供基础信息。四川省自然环境复杂多样，应有更多种类有待发现，将来应作深入调查研究。
