HF inversion in the 2,5-dihydrofuran⋯HF complex
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2001The rotational spectrum of the hydrogen bond heterodimer 2,5-dihydrofuran⋯HF has been investigated in the frequency region 6–18.5 GHz using molecular beam Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The R-branch μa-type spectra of the parent, 2,5-dihydrofuran⋯DF, Cα13-2,5-dihydrofuran⋯HF and Cβ13-2,5-dihydrofuran⋯HF species have been measured.

HF–HF differential scattering cross sections
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1990Close-coupled scattering calculations have been carried out for collisions between HF molecules in their ground vibrational state at a total energy of 1480 cm−1. State-to-state integral and differential cross sections were determined for transitions j1j2→j′1j′2, which refer to collisions HF(j1)+HF(j2)+ΔE→HF(j′1) +HF(j′2), where ΔE is the energy gap ...

The Established Therapies: HF-PEF and HF-REF
2016Over the last few decades, our understanding of the pathophysiology, and subsequently treatment, of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) has grown considerably. While diuretics and digoxin were once the pillars of treatment for HFrEF, they did not offer any mortality benefits.

Models for hydrogen-bonded π systems: ethylene⋯HF, allene⋯HF and cumulene⋯HF
Journal of Molecular Structure, 1988Abstract Minima in the electrostatic energy, for accessible orientations, have been located for complexes of hydrogen fluoride with ethylene, allene and cumulene using a version of the Buckingham-Fowler model. The predicted equilibrium structures agree with available experimental results and with Legon and Millen's rules.

Second virial coefficient of gaseous HF and rotational inelastic scattering for HF-HF collisions
Molecular Physics, 1984A recently determined intermolecular potential for HF has been used to calculate the second virial coefficient of the gas in the temperature range 275-9000 K and the rotational inelastic cross sections for HF-HF collisions at a collision energy of 300 cm-1.

Perturbation calculations of molecular interaction energies: an example, HF....HF
Chemical Physics Letters, 1986Abstract An expression for the interaction energy of two molecules, obtained by expanding the wavefunction for the whole system in terms of antisymmetrized products of free-molecule functions and using a matrix perturbation scheme, is used in ab initio calculations on the HF dimer.
