Ionospheric Doppler measurements by means of HF-radar techniques
Studies of the dynamics of the ionosphere and its related phenomena are mainly based on Doppler Drift measurements. The time variation (ionisation/recombination) of plasma density, thermospheric wind and others can be observed by means of HF-radars.

SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF REFERENCE SIGNAL AND OF HF SIGNAL REFLECTED FROM THE IONOSPHERE BEATS
Topicality of this work is due to the necessity of studying the physical effects associated with the processes in the magnetosphere and the ionosphere. The HF Doppler radar of vertical sounding is used for observations.

Parameters of traveling ionospheric disturbances: results from spaced oblique HF sounding
Urgency. A characteristic feature of the ionospheric radio channel is that its parameters depend on season, local time, solar activity, geographic coordinates, the state of the sun, the state of atmospheric-space weather, etc. The state of the atmosphere

Propagation of gravity waves and spread F in the low-latitude ionosphere over Tucumán, Argentina, by continuous Doppler sounding: first results [PDF]
Results of systematic analysis of propagation directions and horizontal velocities of gravity waves (GWs) and spread F structures in low-latitude ionosphere (magnetic inclination ~27°) in Tucumán region, Argentina, are presented.

Continuous Doppler sounding of the ionosphere during solar flares
Solar flares cause a rapid increase in ionization in the ionosphere owing to significant enhancement of ionizing solar radiation in the X-ray and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) spectral ranges. The change of electron densities in the ionosphere influences the

HF radar detection of infrasonic waves generated in the ionosphere by the 28 March 2005 Sumatra earthquake [PDF]
International audienceSurface waves generated by earthquakes create atmospheric waves detectable in the ionosphere using radio waves techniques: i.e., HF Doppler sounding, GPS and altimeter TEC measurements, as well as radar measurements.

Assessing the quality of ionogram interpretation using the HF Doppler technique [PDF]
International audienceThe first joint common volume measurements by the Digisonde Portable Sounder (DPS-4) and a new Doppler type system has been run at the Pruhonice ionospheric observatory (49.99° N, 14.54° E) since January 2004. The measurement of the

HF radar observations of high-aspect angle backscatter from the E-region [PDF]
We present evidence for the observation of high-aspect angle HF radar backscatter from the auroral electrojets, and describe the spectral characteristics of these echoes. Such backscatter is observed at very near ranges where ionospheric refraction is
