Discovery of a Rich Population of Compact Hub-filament Systems in a Single Star-forming Complex

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
We report the discovery of 45 compact hub-filament systems (HFSs; median size ∼2.4 pc) in infrared-dark clouds (IRDCs) in the W33 complex, located at the junction of the Scutum and Norma spiral arms.

Multi-attribute group decision making based on hesitant fuzzy sets, TOPSIS method and fuzzy preference relations

open access: yesTechnological and Economic Development of Economy, 2018
Hesitant fuzzy sets (HFSs) are widely applied in pattern recognition, classification, clustering, and multiple attribute decision making. In order to get more accurate decision results, the order relation of HFSs is particularly important. In this paper,

Yagi-Uda Antenna for Navigational Aids Using HFSS

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, 2017
<p>In this paper, the ultra high frequency of yagi-uda antenna for navigational has been designed to improve the usable bandwidth by improving the stability of the radiation patterns. The frequency band of ultra high frequency is 300-3000 MHZ. The main aim of this paper is to reduce the loss, improve the gain and also to enhance the efficiency of

Optimization of aperture coupled microstrip patch antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Aperture coupled microstrip patch antennas (ACMPA) are special class of microstrip antennas with high gain and wide impedance bandwidth. These antennas differ from other microstrip antennas with their feeding structure of the radiating patch element ...

An Improved NSGA-II and its Application for Reconfigurable Pixel Antenna Design [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Based on the elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) for multi-objective optimization problems, an improved scheme with self-adaptive crossover and mutation operators is proposed to obtain good optimization performance in this paper ...

Design of Wideband Antenna for Millimeter Waves Using HFSS

open access: yesInternational Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology, 2021
This paper reviews the objectives and requirements of wideband antenna for millimeter-wave applications using HFSS software (Ansys HFSS V.15.0). In modern era, all wireless devices are multipurpose and versatile, so this requires a wideband antenna to perform different tasks.

Study On Waveguide Slots Using Hfss

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we present the design of WR975 waveguide using HFSS simulation software. The slot present in the wave guide will cause the waveguide to radiate and act as an antenna. Another slot is also kept to check the results with a single slot and compared.

Reduced Insulin Resistance and Oxidative Stress in a Mouse Model of Metabolic Syndrome following Twelve Weeks of Citrus Bioflavonoid Hesperidin Supplementation: A Dose–Response Study

open access: yesBiomolecules
Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a cluster of metabolic abnormalities affecting ~25% of adults and is linked to chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. Oxidative stress and inflammation are key drivers of MetS.
