Calculating slow-wave circuit parameters with HFSS
Abstracts. International Vacuum Electronics Conference 2000 (Cat. No.00EX392), 2002Slow-wave circuits provide the wave propagation structures for microwave devices such as TWTs, and CFAs. In this paper we show how to use Ansoft HFSS to calculate dispersion relations for slow wave circuits. The technique could also be used to study other periodic structures.

Higher-order mode (HOM) damper design using HFSS
AIP Conference Proceedings, 1993This paper reports results of using High‐Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) to design a Smythe‐type broadband longitudinal HOM damper for the SSCL low energy booster (LEB) ferrite‐tuned cavity. Microwave low pass filter based on CSRR using HFSS
