Conduction characteristics in HgI 2 devices

The performance of semiconductor radiation detectors is a function of electronic properties which are in turn related to crystallographic quality. In this paper we used devices from and growth regions of several different HgI2 crystals grown by the PVD method. We measured I/V characteristics of HgI2 devices over the range of +/-1000V.

The reaction Hg+I2→HgI+I revisited

The crossed molecular beam study of Mayer et al. (1977) on the subject reaction is revisited. The present work employs a different beam configuration and thus kinematic framework, and a larger range of relative translational energies is covered (i.e., from the threshold of 1.15 to 3.75 eV).

HGI measures how far a person’s HbA1c lies above or below average compared to other people with similar blood glucose concentrations.
